No data collected
WTF does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts.
iCloud
Your custom dictionaries and settings are stored in your own iCloud account so they sync between your devices. That data lives in your iCloud Drive and is handled by Apple; we never see it. You can turn syncing off in Settings.
New and updated dictionaries
WTF checks GitHub for dictionary updates at most once a day. No account, device ID, spelling history, or other personal information is sent. As with any web request, GitHub sees an IP address. WTF keeps working offline.
Purchases
WTF Pro is a one-time purchase made through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles the payment; the app only learns whether you’ve bought Pro. We never see your payment method, your Apple Account, or who you are.
Third parties
No third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services are used.
